Arrival Istanbul – Cappadocia
Arrive at Istanbul Airport and connect to your domestic flight to Cappadocia. Meet and greet with our local guide at the airport, then transfer to the hotel. Free time and overnight in Cappadocia.
Cappadocia Valleys & Underground City
Start at Love Valley among the rock formations and fairy chimneys, where your guide explains the volcanic history of the region. Visit the Carpet School, then drive to Avanos for a look at traditional pottery making and carpet weaving. Continue to Cardak Underground City, an ancient subterranean complex carved into the rock. After lunch, on to Devrent Valley for its mushroom and animal-shaped chimneys, then Urgup and the Ortahisar rock-cut castle for a view over the old Greek houses built in the 1800s, finishing at a pottery workshop. Dinner and overnight in Cappadocia.
Cappadocia – Istanbul
After breakfast, visit the Jewellery Workshop and Centre, then Uchisar Rock Castle for a panoramic view across the valleys of Cappadocia. Lunch in Goreme, followed by a last stop at Cavusin Old Village before transferring to the airport for your flight back. Overnight in Istanbul.
Istanbul Old City
Visit the Outlet Leather Factory and Centre for shopping and a live fashion show, then the Hippodrome, once a stadium for horse and chariot racing, and the Blue Mosque, the only mosque in Istanbul with six minarets. Photo stop at the Hagia Sophia Grand Mosque, the largest Eastern Roman church in Istanbul, and at Topkapi Palace, former seat of the Ottoman Empire. Overnight in Istanbul.
Istanbul – Bursa – Istanbul
Transfer to Bursa, starting with shopping for Turkish delights, then the Green Mosque and Green Tomb, and the Grand Mosque, one of the finest examples of Ottoman transition-period architecture, with an interior fountain and an intricately carved wooden pulpit. Return to Istanbul for the night.
Bosphorus Cruise & Departure
After breakfast, ride the cable car up Pierre Loti Hill in Eyup for a view over the Golden Horn, then begin at the top of Istiklal Avenue in Taksim Square. Cruise the Bosphorus while your guide points out Dolmabahce Palace, the Maiden’s Tower, the two suspension bridges, Rumeli Hisari Fortress and the waterfront mansions along the shore. Free time at the Spice Bazaar before your transfer to the airport.

No, the balloon ride is not part of the package. It can be arranged locally at your own cost, subject to weather on the morning. Tell us in advance if you are interested and we will pass the request to our guide.
It means everything on the ground in Turkey (hotels, meals, transport, guide, entrance fees) is arranged for you, and in this package the domestic flights between Istanbul and Cappadocia are arranged too. Only your international flight is separate.
Tipping for your guide and driver (USD5 per person per day) and tips to hotel and restaurant staff are not included in the package price.
